On December 20, 2025, Update 30 dropped and brought the Gingerbread Town event with it, turning the main lobby into a Christmas-themed map every other hour, along with new exclusive Brainrots and rewards you can only get while the event is live.
In this article, we'll cover everything you need to know about the Gingerbread Town event, how it works, how to farm Candy Canes, and how to get the most out of it before it's gone.
How the Gingerbread Town Event Works

The Gingerbread Town event activates automatically every other hour, replacing the main lobby with a snow-covered Christmas-themed map. You'll know it's active when a notification pops up on your screen, and you can also track it using the event board at the center of the lobby. Once it ends, the map goes back to normal, and you'll have to wait for the next rotation.
When the event is live, the entire map gets a festive overhaul. Snow covers the baseplate, a large clock tower stands at the center, and candy cane rings float around the Red Carpet area. The walls are styled like a North Pole village with Christmas trees lining the edges.
If you log in and don't see the Gingerbread Town, don't panic. You've just joined during the off-rotation. Wait for the hour to pass, and it'll spawn automatically.

How to Farm Candy Canes and What to Spend Them On

Candy Canes are the main currency of the event, and the best way to farm them is by riding Santa's Sleigh. You'll find it near the Red Carpet exit. Walk up to it and press E to board, but make sure you sit in one of the two front seats; the back seats won't trigger the ride. Once seated, the sleigh takes off automatically and flies around the map. Your goal is to steer through the floating Candy Cane rings, as each one you pass through gives you Candy Canes, and they respawn continuously, so you can keep collecting for as long as the event is active.
As for spending them, there are two main ways. You can spend 300 Candy Canes to spawn a Festive Lucky Block next to the admin machine at the conveyor belt, which gives you a chance at random Christmas-themed rewards. The better option, though, is saving up 1,500 Candy Canes for the Donkeyturbo Express, a Secret-tier Brainrot you can buy at the North Pole. To get there, board the Brainrot Express train that appears on the Red Carpet during the event. The Donkeyturbo Express costs $1.25B and generates $7.5M per second, and once the event ends, you won't be able to buy it anymore.
Exclusive Brainrots and Rewards

The Gingerbread Town event comes with a few exclusive Brainrots worth knowing about. The main one people are chasing is Dragon Gingerini, a Secret-tier Brainrot you can only get through Santa's Fuse Machine, which is located on the same platform as Santa's Sleigh. To use it, you need to insert four Christmas Brainrots into the machine, and the result is random, so there's no guarantee you'll get it. Also, when you go to collect your fusion from the machine, keep your bat equipped because other players can steal it right off the machine.
There's also Money Money Reindeer, another Secret-tier Brainrot that has a very small chance of spawning on the Red Carpet during the event. It costs $2.5B and generates $25M per second, so if you see it, grab it fast.
On top of that, you can unlock the Gingerbread Base Skin for free by collecting 90% of the Christmas Index, which means you need at least 33 out of 37 Christmas Brainrots. The deadline for that was January 1, 2026. There's also a paid Gingerbread Base Skin available in the in-game shop for 849 Robux if you want it without the grind.

Final Words
The Gingerbread Town event has enough to keep you busy, from farming Candy Canes on Santa's Sleigh to chasing Dragon Gingerini and saving up for the Donkeyturbo Express. Just make sure you get everything done before the event ends, since most of these rewards won't be available once it's gone.
